Olive You A Lot!

Just a quick weekend outfit inspiration post for your viewing pleasure; this is exactly the kind of outfit I love to spend my casual time in and I am having a love affair with this olive hat from Club Monaco. It is MY pleasure to announce the winner of the Luxe Craving necklace giveaway. A big thanks to Selena from Luxe Craving for sending the necklace over, hopefully you all check her shop (did you know this necklace comes in mint now!? Eeeep!!). THANK YOU all so much for entering; it was a huge success and the more successful giveaways are, the more we can have. Everyone wins really! What blew me away was reading all of your comments on how you would style the necklace; so inspiring! Loved that everyone's answers were really different proving the versatility of the piece; and I don't know about you but that is really important to me when I buy something: how many ways can I wear this? Maybe all of the suggestions you ladies came up with will help us see that fancy necklaces don't just belong in fancy places! 

The winner is Meghan Crane and she "Liked Her Luxe" with nude flats, colored denim, and a white t-shirt! Sounds perfect to me! Here are some of my other favorite suggestions you came up with (I tried to make collages of these but Polyvore was NOT my friend last eve so I apologize):

1. Tasia of Ruffles and Sequins would pair the blue necklace with a grey tee and ripper boyfriend jeans.

2. Rebecca covered every last amazing detail pairing the blue necklace with a high-collared black button-up worn loose over vegan leather skinnies, gold pointy-toe flats, gold stud earrings with gold arm candy, and a coordinating blue envelope clutch with an eye-catching blue cocktail ring!

3. Irina would pair the red necklace with a coral striped tank and black skinny jeans.

4. April would wear the red necklace with royal blue gingham and a mint cardigan.

Other suggestions included leopard, leather, peplum, ripped sweatshirts, graphic prints! I hope everyone makes a statement this weekend!!
